Tamarind House is a well located, fully furnished two bedroom house situated in one of Antigua’s most popular parts of the Island.

The view from Tamarind House commands the full panorama of the magnificent Falmouth harbour on Antigua’s SE coast. During the season (November to May) a gathering of the worlds most extraordinary super yachts can be admired right from the deck. Cooled by the steady Atlantic trade winds blowing in from the ocean, the house is set back and up from the centre of the bay, enjoying peace and privacy with only a short walk to local services and of course beaches!

  • Ensuite Master bedroom with king size bed with direct access to pool
  • Ensuite twin room with direct access to garden
  •  5m  (18’) pool
  •  Large fully equipped kitchen that can be fully opened to the outside with shutters along one wall so cooking can be enjoyed with uninterrupted views of the harbour below and unforgettable Caribbean sunsets each evening
  • Living and Dining area equipped with widescreen cable television with in-built DVD, USB and memory card capabilities
  • Wifi
  • Within walking distance of local amenities, including grocery stores, rental services, buses and launderettes
  • Maid service twice a week

The house is of the ‘open’ style developed to allow the breezes to travel through the rooms, but can be shuttered off when desired. The décor in pastel shades gives a sense of coolness and simplicity in contrast to the strong tropical light outside. Tamarind House is kind to the environment with naturally collected rain as its source of water and high powered ceiling fans, encouraging you to experience the real Antigua.

Fully refurbished for 2013, Tamarind House with its modern interior, picturesque views and ideal location is the premier rental home in the Falmouth Harbour area. Whether for business or pleasure, it guarantees an unforgettable stay in Antigua.

There are many beautiful areas to explore on the Island including some astonishing treks to venture. One of my personal favourites is taking a stroll through the rainforest, collecting lemon grass and creating a unique dish with some fresh fish from the St Johns market.

The surrounding area has many attractions such as Shirley’s Heights, Fort Berkeley, Nelson’s Dockyard and an array of restaurants and bars. English and Falmouth Harbour are renowned for their involvement in the yachting industry and during season (Nov-May), this area of the Island is thriving, providing many opportunities for those seeking to join the ‘yachting world’.
